Sinderhope Pony Trekking Centre

Enjoy beautiful scenery on horseback. The centre is based on a traditional working hill farm in Northumberland. We are surrounded by miles of beautiful moorland and wildlife is plentiful with many examples of upland birds of Great Britain, such as the black grouse, Red Grouse, Snipe and Lapwing.

Riding hats and boots included.

Various length treks to suit all abilities, riding over moorland and through dales on our cobs and native type ponies.
A fun yet educational day involving pony care and riding, provided to children in school holidays - Parent free! and adult days can be arranged in term time.
Lessons last 30 mins or 50 minutes and they are taught in the indoor arena which provides a safe, enclosed and Dry environment.
Why not invite your pals to experience a pony trek party at the Pony Trekking centre. For groups of 6 or more. Party tea and even party bags included.
We have carefully built up a team of horses and ponies to provide a range of sizes, types and temperaments to suit everyone from the complete beginner to the competent rider. Canters are arranged for the more experienced rider, while basic instructions and support are offered to the nervous or novice rider. We also provide private trekking for individuals or groups if you would like to go out on your own with one of our guides, these sessions are subject to availability. All treks are escorted by experienced riders.
